ETK TELETYPE EQUIPMENT SERIESThis equipment was used in conjunction with crypto devices made by Gretag.
The ETK-47 was first launched in 1947 based on specifications initially developed in 1945 for type ETK. Then the specification changed around 1947. The total length of a character was reduced from 400 to 200 ms. A copy the original 1945 ETK principal of operation #188 is available here.
