KG-83  Key Generator
The TSEC/KG-83 was a Key Variable Generator used to produce electronic keys for the KYK-13, KYX-15, and HGX-83.

It was used in the CI-5/7/8 COMSEC racks in TRI-TAC systems.

It had to be certified via a banded/Certified KT-83 Test unit.  Once certified, it was labeled with its classification of keys to be generated.
