This secure voice handset was used in the UK in official buildings and residences from WW2 up until the 1960s.
Secure Handset. This is the handset and cradle only. It had to be used with a Privacy Unit box as shown below. The Privacy Unit was made by several manufacturers . Photos via E-bay in this table.
