SHIPPING FROM USA to EUROPE

From time to tine, the need arises to ship non-crypto related components from USA to a European Union country. This procedure, provided by  Paul Reuvers,  ought to do the trick.
"When sending it to the EU, you need to provide a pro-forma invoice with some details and a (collector’s) value on it.
The invoice should state that the device is in ‘free circulation’ in the US and Europe (i.e. it is NOT a cipher device, but an unrestricted accessory).
The invoice should also clearly specify the Harmonized Tariff Schedule number — today known as the HS code — 9705100090
This is the code for: Collections and collectors’ pieces of archaeological, ethnographic, historical, zoological, botanical, mineralogical, anatomical, paleontological or numismatic interest.

The HS code should also be visible on the package itself (i.e. on the address slip).
Include three copies of the pro-forma invoice with the package (in a transparent self-adhesive envelope).

The recipient will then not pay any import duties, but will probably have to pay the national VAT. It is therefore important that the price on the pro-forma invoice is not too high".
